So,I looked up this mushroom when I got home… And it looks less like a deer mushroom and more like a death cap,the shroom responsible for the most deaths resulting from poisoning in north America each year.

The photo makes it look greenish, but I remember it being more brown. Anyway, the shape and texture is less like a deer mushroom than I thought.

When it comes to mushrooms, ask an expert before eating it. Just because a squirrel has taken a nibble, doesn’t mean it won’t cause kidney failure.
