Some of you have likely received an email from me entitled “The Last Email!”
Don’t worry – I’m still here, I’m just doing away with Mailchimp as a service. It’s been a lovely way to keep in touch with everyone, but as the cost of everything associated with running my little online service here is increasing, I need to be practical about what I keep.
Just a little glimpse behind the curtain, did you know that when I started using Mailchimp in 2012, it was free? For years I was paying $10 / month, which was great! But I’ve been paying $40 a month (USD) for quite some time and that really adds up across the year. I may only offer a special once or twice a year, so for practical reasons, it’s best to just let the email service go.
I did have to increase my session fee again a bit this year, which I haven’t done in a couple of years, because the cost of things I can’t let go of are all increasing too. But! I will continue to post specials on this blog, and if you’d like an email every time I post a discount, all you have to do is:
Look to your right. (If you’re on a mobile device, you might need to scroll to the bottom of the page)
Scroll down until you see this:

Pop your email address in, and that’s it! You’ll be emailed every time I post here.
Thanks so much for helping me out during this transition, and please keep in touch!
Kate
Glad you’re still here and I miss your podcasts! Hope you’re well.

Awww, thank you Lisa! Do you happen to listen to the old episodes still? That’s the next thing on the chopping block…

I don’t simply because there is SO MUCH content online! But I do think about some of the episodes sometimes. But if you were making new content I’d definitely be listening. And if you had a Patreon I’d def join.

I don’t have time to create much new content in this current phase of life. I’m sure I will get back to it at some point, but it could be years. For now, I’m trying to streamline all my services.
The hosting fees for keeping the podcast available are adding up too, so I’m looking into options for archiving it, and just keeping it accessible for the OG members who want to reminisce!
